Marcia
Jean (McKee) Reich, 65, of Auburn, died Tuesday November 15, 2011 in her
home after an illness.
She leaves her husband, Dr. Laurence Reich, two sons - Daniel Reich and
Nathan Reich, and her daughter Sarah, all of Auburn. She was born in
Boston, daughter of the late Ralph T. and Marion (Barnes) McKee. She
graduated from Keuka College, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in
English. She later attended Pratt Institute where she received her
Master's Degree in Library Science and Clark University where she received
her Master's in Public Administration.
Marcia worked as a librarian at the Worcester Public Library for 25 years.
She had previously worked as an assistant librarian at Clark University
and the Brooklyn Public Library.
Mrs. Reich was an avid reader and a 20 year trustee of the Auburn Public
Library. She had a passion for music, serving as a member and supporter of
the Master Singers of Worcester and the Pakachoag Music School.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 5-8 PM on
Friday, November 18th 2011 in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, located at
91 Central St. in Auburn.
