Coming Down from the Peak
Here are some of the views from up top of Wayna Picchu.
We are probably the few little spots in the middle near
the top.
Machu Picchu is just so big that you really don't see all
the people in this photo.
This photo wasn't taken by our team, but it could have
been. I found it online.
There are times I have had dreams - nightmares, really - of
situations like this --
where I am just a few feet from the end of the world. I am
glad I didn't choose
to make this climb, and have a view like this one. How do
you like it?
Can you imagine constructing this building, the stairs, and
the terraces here?????
